Love songs have always been a hit throughout history. Its probably the reason why songs were made in the first place.

Official sountrack of the movie 'The Princess and the Frog'. I loved the movie! Not a typical Disney princess story but still just as magical. I heard this song before the movie, but after watching the movie, it gave this song more meaning. FYI, there is also a version without Cassandra Steen. Dedicated to the girls who watched the movie with me on hangover day! =)


At Last - IYAZ
The song sounds like a typical love story that i'm sure a lot of us have experienced. Starts off sad but then he finds the love of his life.


Falling in Love - MCFLY
This song is more about what could have been. It has a sad ending to it. =(
Moral of the story: Go get him/her before its too late!


I like the acoustic version better although danny's voice cracks halfway.


Hey Soul Sister - Train
One of my song obsessions at the moment. These modern love songs have such strange yet delightful lyrics. I love the combo of romantic yet wierd phrasings. The song doesnt become overly cheesy that way.

I love how the lyrics intertwine images of space and romance together. Owl City always has wierd yet charming lyrics as well.

I love the whistling sounds in the background. Makes the song sound happy even though its not meant to be a happy song.

This is your typical love ballad. The band Boys Like Girls has gone soft, but I really think they did a good job with this song and dueting with Taylor Swift.



Celebrating Singlehood:

V-day doesnt have to be all about couples! There is love everywhere whether you have a partner or not.

Ridin' Solo - Jason Derulo
I love that its one of the very few songs out there that really talks about the joy of being single. Dedicated to the person who sees me as an elephant.
